  1. Great video, loved how you owned the space. Your strong woman presence is there for all to see. You articulated a subject that is so lived by many black women/ women of colour. You stripped it back to expose how necessary it is for us to document ourselves so that we are seen and heard, and to give voice to the thousands of women whose body of work will always be overshadowed and kept to the margins, unless we shout (metaphorically) loud enough into the mainstream to be heard.

  2. I love this… spot on. We women are used to leading and influencing from behind. But for the sake of the younger women coming through it is essential we take our rightful place at the top. Thank you for continuing to inspire us, Paulette.

    my own weblog and was wondering what all is required to get set
    up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty
    penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% positive.
    Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
